The Chesapeake Bay Foundation announces an exciting opportunity to participate in a volunteer service trip at the Port Isobel Study Site in the heart of the Chesapeake Bay!
What: Island in the Bay—Exploration and Service at Port Isobel This four-day trip begins with a boat ride from Crisfield, Maryland, to the island. The itinerary includes opportunities to participate in hands-on service and Bay exploration activities, including an excursion to nearby Tangier Island, a unique community that reflects its centuries-old traditions and way of life.
This trip is designed for adults age 18 and older who want to experience island life, learn about its ecology, and work together to support CBF’s facility at Port Isobel.

Cost: $275 (includes accommodations, transportation, and all meals).
