During the evening hours of March 29th, 2012 the suspect in the Bank Robbery of the BB & T in Chestertown, Kent County, MD was extradited back to Maryland from the State of Florida to face multiple charges involving the robbery of the BB & T Bank.
The suspect identified as Brian Danielle Taylor, 38 years of age, of the 200 block of West Water Street, Centreville, MD was served two arrest warrants by investigators from the Kent Bureau of Investigations (KBI) upon his return to the State of Maryland. The first arrest warrant involves charges stemming from the BB & T Bank Robbery investigated by the KBI in Chestertown. Those charges included Armed Robbery, Robbery, Assault 2nd Degree and Theft value $1,000.00 to under $10,000.00. The secondarrest warrant was a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on traffic charges in the District Court in Centreville, MD. Taylor was incarcerated at the Kent County Detention Centeron a $250,000.00 bond for the Bank Robbery and a $10,000.00 bond for the Bench Warrant.
Taylor was captured last week in the State of Florida after investigators from the KBI positively linked Taylor to the Bank Robbery with DNA evidence, then tracking down hislocation which was provided to the U.S. Marshall’s in Florida in order to take Taylor into custody on the two arrest warrants. The BB & T Bank Robbery investigation was conducted by the KBI which is a combined Criminal Investigative Unit consisting of the Maryland State Police, the Chestertown Police Department and the Rock Hall Police Department. The lead investigator for the BB & T Robbery was Detective Eveland of the Chestertown Police Department.
