The Chestertown Arts League’s Annual Members’ Judged Show opened this past First Friday, November 4th with 63 works of art. The show was open-themed and all types of media were accepted.
The judge for this year’s show was Ricky Sears, Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at Washington College.
Ricky chose the following as awards winners and honorable mentions:
1st Place: Dennis Young’s “I’ll Just Text Him” (oil on canvas)
2nd Place: Heidi Wetzel’s “Sea Ward” (mixed media / sculpture)
3rd Place: Patty Mowell’s “Autumn Glories” (watercolor)
Honorable Mention: Barbara Parker’s “Getting Out of Kansas” (mixed media)
Honorable Mention: Evie Baskin’s “Jonathan” (pastel)
Honorable Mention: Mary Graham’s “Nightfall” (oil on canvas)
Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at Washington College.
