Radcliffe Creek School has announced that November 19, from 5:30 pm-11:00 pm, the school will host its popular Dance and Auction for the fourth year in a row. The party is designed as a fundraiser for the unique programs and incredible students served by the school. The only school of its kind in the area, Radcliffe Creek School offers multi-sensory, individualized instruction for students with learning differences using research based teaching methods and a very low student to teacher ratio.
Like the previous event, this year’s dance will feature music from the incomparable band, the “NightLife,” and promises to be an evening of great fun for a great cause. With turnout expected to be larger than the previous year’s 200 attendees, the school has decided to host the event in the fall instead of the winter to encourage holiday shopping and kick off the holiday party season. The event will be held at the school and be catered by local favorite Magnolia Catering. The program will combine a Live and Silent Auction as well as a raffle and a much anticipated game of “Heads or Tails.” The winner of last year’s game, Karl Zierfuss, walked away with a brand-new Apple iPad 2.
Some of this year’s Auction prizes include:
Trip to Puerto Rico
Condo rental in Ocean City
2 Tickets to the Ravens
2 Tickets to the Philadelphia Flyers vs. The Washington Capitals
Guided Fishing, Hooper’s Island
Additional features of the Auction are art from local favorite, Paul Bramble and an evening out/spa night called “The Real Housewives of Radcliffe Creek School.” Also included are items that are wildly popular for the students, such as: “School Director for the Day” and some fantastic summer camp opportunities. A complete list of the auction items will be available on the Radcliffe Creek School website at www.radcliffecreekschool.org starting November 1, 2011.
Ticket prices for the popular event start at $65 for individuals and increase to $100 per person for tables of 4 or 10. Pricing for the tables also includes several alcoholic drinks and advertising in the event program.
