Eastern Neck NWR is again open to the public as of September 1st, 2011.
The refuge staff thanks the Kent County, Delmarva Power, and Blackwater NWR crews for their hard work helping us deal with numerous downed trees and power lines that blocked refuge roadways after Hurricane Irene.
