Saturday and Sunday, September 17 and 18, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Shop from the region’s largest selection of native ornamental plants. This fall’s special selection of native plants will highlight late-season bloomers, asters, goldenrod, and native grasses, as well as favorite trees and shrubs that provide stunning fall color, such as black gum, Virginia sweetspire, and spicebush.
Members may place presale orders online at www.adkinsplants.com, August 1–28. All members receive a 10% discount on plants, and members at the Contributor ($100) level and above receive a 20% discount. Join or upgrade your membership to take advantage of this benefit.
At the Nursery
The Adkins Arboretum Native Plant Nursery has offered the Chesapeake Bay gardener the largest selection of ornamental native plants for more than 10 years. The Nursery opens for the season on April 15 and closes for the winter on November 1.
Native Plant Nursery Hours
Monday–Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Weekend hours by arrangement.

For plant availability, visit www.adkinsplants.com. This site can accept orders between March 1 and November 1. The site can be viewed by all, but only Arboretum members may place orders. Members receive a 10% discount on plants. Members at the Contributor level and above receive a 20% discount on plants.
All members have the benefit of pre-ordering plants from the site before plant sale events. This benefit gives members the opportunity to buy plants before the public sale and have their orders waiting when they arrive for pick-up. Learn more about Arboretum membership.
