A progressive website has posted an article by local writer Ted Newcomen on the current status of the empty office/retail building that replaced the Black-Eyed Susan Restaurant on Washington Avenue. Newcomen reports that the project owned by BBC Properties of Dover, DE, and financed through Wilmington Trust Corp, (which today announced it is being bought by M&T Bank for $351 million in stock) is not showing any signs of having new tenants anytime soon.
