Shades of ‘Saving Grace’

On September 14, 2010, the Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force executed a search and seizure warrant at 418 Calvert Road in Stevensville, Queen Anne’s County, Maryland.  During the search the following was located and seized:

60.2 grams of recently harvested, processed and drying marijuana

one small live marijuana plant with evidence of recently removed marijuana plants at the same outdoor plot location

three smoking devices

one metal grinder

evidence of a long term indoor/outdoor marijuana grow operation

The two residents of 418 Calvert Road are Arthur Charles Franke, date of birth September 6, 1961 and Robin Marie Franke, date of birth December 19, 1963.  They have both been charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marihuana, Manufacturing Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force was assisted in the service of this warrant by the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and patrol officers from the Maryland State Police.

The Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force is a combined investigative effort consisting of the Maryland State Police, The Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff, The Queen Anne’s County State’s Attorney’s Office, Centreville Police Department and the Maryland Natural Resource Police. Anyone with drug information is urged to call the Task Force at 410-758-8477.
