Come celebrate art by students at Chestertown Middle School this Friday at the Kohl Gallery from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
The show is result of some prompting by Washington College graduate Gillian Bourassa, a Social Studies teacher at CMS, who is working towards her certification in elementary education. Bourassa, gallery intern Riley Carbonneau, and Donald McColl, chair of the Department of Art and Art History, worked with students in school and at the gallery over a period of time.
The results include a number of essays, and a considerable body of original works of art.
