Church Hill Theatre’s production of Michael Frayn’s hilarious farce Noises Off will be playing its closing weekend on Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26 at 8 pm and Sunday, September 27 at 2 pm. Shelagh Grasso directs this play-within-a-play (the sexy British romp Nothing On) that shows CHT audiences what really goes on back-stage. Noises Off ran for five years on London’s West End, played over 500 performances on Broadway, and is one of the most successful comedies of all time.
Peter Heck in the Kent County News called “….’Noises Off” is a witty spoof on theatre” with cast members are Jane Copple, Patrick Fee, Maggie Garey, John Haas, Christine Kinlock, Heather Oland, C. “Pat” Patterson, Will Robinson and Ricky Vitanovic. Set design is by Shelagh and Carmen Grasso and artist Brian Draper with lighting design by Nic Carter and costumes by Barbi Bedell. Michelle Christopher is Stage Manager assisted by Robbie Spray with Sally Borghardt and Julie Lawrence as producer.
