Harry Potter Trivia Night will be held Friday, September 4, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at The Bookplate, 112 S. Cross Street. And it’s free!
Enjoy September’s First Friday activities in Downtown Chestertown by testing your knowledge of Harry Potter at this family-friendly event at Chestertown’s “Flourish and Blott’s” (aka The Bookplate). We will be having team trivia contests (with prizes) and featuring the special event: So You Think You Can Be A Hermione?
Starring three fabulous Harry Potter trivia aces dressed as Hermione at different ages, last year’s “Stump the Hermiones” event challenged and delighted participants and attendees of the first annual Chestertown Harry Potter Festival.
This year, we need YOUR help to bring back this enchanting event and make it better than ever! Due to an unfortunate run-in with a boggart (don’t ask – it’s terrifying), last year’s team of Hermiones is short one member. We need a new Hermione!
Potential Hermiones must:
- possess an awe-inspiring, encyclopedic knowledge of all things Harry Potter
- be willing to stand up on stage and answer trivia questions in front of an audience, as part of a team
- be available on the evening of Friday, October 2nd (and willing to arrange a meet and greet at a prior date)
- be between the ages of 7 and 13
- be a boy* or a girl; anyone can try out! (*if you are a boy, you should be willing to dress up as Hermione!)
To audition for the role of Hermione, sign up at Harry Potter Trivia Night on Friday, September 4th 5:00-7:00pm at The Bookplate, 112 S. Cross St., Chestertown. (Parent or guardian permission required, just like for Hogsmeade visits.) We look forward to seeing you there!
And remember, it’s Levi-OH-sa, not Levio-SA…
