By “Cases” and “Deaths” do you mean “Total cases” and Total Deaths?” If so, how can there be more “Deaths in facilities” than “Total deaths” starting on May 6th? Something is not right with this graph.
Deaths in facilities are attributed to the county where the facility is located. Total deaths are attributed to the county on the death certificate, which is generally the permanent residence. Residents in nursing homes may still maintain a permanent residence in a different county. And nursing home staff may live in a different county.
