RiverArts Moment: Curator Pat Thompson discusses the June Exhibition “Fine Art and Craft”

Share

Artistic inspiration is an unconscious burst of creativity. The concept has origins in both Hellenism and Hebraism. The Greeks believed that inspiration or enthusiasm came from the muses as well as the gods Apollo and Dionysus.

This exhibition showcases the region’s finest artwork in a Judged Painting and Contemporary Craft. Artist works include painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture and fine craft (wood, fiber, ceramics, glass and jewelry).
