Unitarians Ponder “Belonging”

December 17, 2016 by Unitarian Universalists

Share

On Sunday, December 18, at 10 a.m., Catherine Marie Charlton will give a sermon entitled “Be Longing” for the Unitarian Universalists of the Chester River, 914 Gateway Dr., Chestertown. “Belonging” with our family, community, and humanity begins with the internal journey — the longing of the soul for acceptance.

Catherine Marie Charlton is a pianist, composer, and recording artist who has been exploring the spiritual depths of creativity through her Wyeth-inspired nature walks and photography, blogging these on Instagram as “@cmcriverdawn”. Her piano album of compositions inspired by the Wyeth family of painters will be released in spring 2017. She serves on the Sunday Services committee at UU Society of Mill Creek, Delaware, and is also on the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia chapter of the Recording Academy (“The Grammys”).

Catherine will play two piano pieces for us as a part of the service.

Childcare for infants and toddlers will be available during the service. Join us for this thoughtful discussion; all are welcome. For more information call 410-778-3440, or visit us on Facebook.
