The Board of Trustees of the Kent County Public Library have extended the closing date to accept applications for potential nominees to replace a trustee whose term will be ending on December 31, 2016. The new date is November 11, 2016.
Barbara Macbeth, Board President, said that the Board in entering an important phase to revitalize and reconstruct portions of the library space with the first project being the improvement of the area for children and a new area for teens both that would adapt to their particular needs. We hope to attract community members who believe in and want to continue to enhance the library’s role in the community.
