If your family is from Butlertown, all the families and property have been traced by Carolyn Cooper in her research book, “Descendants Day, The history of the Center of Kent County”. It is available at both the Bookplate book store and the Historical Society for a more than reasonable price. There are personal stories, maps, charts of properties, and general history included. This has been called a researchers’s Dream by one of our librarians. You might want to check it out.
If your family is from the center of the county, check it out.
