June 2 has been designated National Gun Violence Awareness Day. A vast majority of Americans, including gun owners, NRA members, and families devastated by violence, are looking for ways to make owning and using a gun safer for everyone. A free film “Making a Killing” will be shown June 2 at 7:00 at the Unitarian-Universalists, 914 Gateway Drive, Chestertown, followed by a discussion of the issues. All are welcome to join the conversation. For information contact Barbara Chase, 410-708-1774.
