Chesapeake Charities is calling for nominations for Philanthropist, Nonprofit and Volunteer of the Year to be presented at its November 2016 Celebration of Charity luncheon. Governor Larry Hogan will also be honored at the luncheon for his courage and leadership in the face of adversity. The deadline to submit nominations is May 31, 2016.
Nominations are requested from the community-at- large for the following prestigious awards: Philanthropist of the Year will recognize an individual or organization who has demonstrated outstanding generosity and community leadership. Volunteer of the Year will honor one who has gone above and beyond in fulfilling their service role. Nonprofit of the Year will be presented to an organization that has consistently provided communities and families with vital support systems.
Award recipients will be recognized at the early November luncheon to be held at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. The nomination deadline is Tuesday, May 31, 2016
