The Spy just received a wonderful video from the Humane Society of Kent County. Filmed by Washington College student Eric Burcin. it’s a great portrayal of Lexi, one of HSKC’s dogs up for adoption. We love the new format and hope you do also.
“Lexi has been at The Humane Society of Kent County the longest of all the shelter’s dogs–a year and a half. You can help her find a home in just 5 minutes. Watch and share this video to spread the word about this special dog who deserves love as much as anyone else.”~from KCHS.

I have GREAT news to share! Lexi’s video was viewed over 4,000 times and her story was shared by so many wonderful people that a fabulous young family has come to The Humane Society of Kent County Maryland to meet and adopt her! It was love at first sight. We are so thankful to everyone who cared enough to get the word out about Lexi’s need to find her forever home. We are indebted to Eric for his touching video and to everyone who took part in making this adoption possible. Lexi is finally in a loving home with 2 beautiful children who she can play with. The son promised to read to her and the daughter picked out a beautiful pale blue and yellow collar with a frilly bow on it. She is being spoiled, as she should be, and cared for as she has never known before. We at the Shelter miss her sweet face and lovely personality, but we are overjoyed that she has found a family to dote on her. Lexi has found her “happily ever after” ending. Please come out to the HSKC whenever you want to add to your own family. There are lots of dogs, cats and kittens to choose from at the Sheltr so please remember to “Adopt, don’t Shop” for your next animal friend!
