David Schelat on the Organ April 17

On Friday, Friday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m., David Schelat will present an organ concert at Emmanuel’s Organ Concert Series.

This is his second appearance at Emmanuel. Mr. Schelat is the Minister of Music at First and Central Presbyterian Church, Wilmington, DE. He is also the Dean of the Delaware Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. He is a frequent recitalist in the mid-Atlantic region, has been heard on the nationally syndicated program on American Public Media, “Pipedreams,” and is a member of the Concert Organist Cooperative.

He has planned and played numerous hymn festivals in the United States, Canada, and in Europe, including festivals for conferences of the Hymn Society in the United States and Canada, the American Guild of Organists, and the National Association of Pastoral Musicians. He is also a composer.
