Standing Room Only For October’s First Friday

October 6, 2014 by James Dissette

Share

October’s First Friday was abuzz with music and art. This short video starts with Andre Sisco playing at the Charles Sumner Post #25 on South Queen St. Sisco, a native Kent County resident, was just called back to the popular music competition, “The Voice.” His music is heard throughout the video.

The video continues through RiverArts’ gala ramp-up to the 2014 Studio Tour to be held October 25 and 26 and November 1 and 2 and ends with a focus on the Tree of Life Gallery on Cannon Street.

The Spy commends Chestertown artists, merchants and organizations propelling nothing less than the birth of a new level of the arts in our community. This is how a town becomes an arts destination. This is how it can flourish.
