On Sun, April 6, 10 AM, Dr. David Newell will give a sermon entitled “Friendship” to the Unitarian Universalists of the Chester River, 914 Gateway Dr., Chestertown.
Friendship is undoubtedly central to our lives, in part because of the special concern or love we have for our friends, and in part because our friends help shape who we are as persons. Aristotle distinguished between three kinds of friendships: friendships of pleasure, friendships of utility and friendships of virtue. How is our love for, and behavior toward, our friends shaped by the types of friends they are.
Religious education for youngsters, as well as infant and toddler care, will be provided during our service. All are welcome. Please call for more information at 410-778-3440 or email [email protected].
