Wye Financial & Trust Underwrites Chesapeake Chamber Music 2014 Gala

February 25, 2014 by Chesapeake Music

Share

Chesapeake Chamber Music has announced that its 2014 Gala, “All That Jazz,” to be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014, has been underwritten by Wye Financial & Trust in partnership with Gilman Hill Asset Management. The Gala will kick-off at 6 p.m. with a concert at the Avalon Theatre in Easton, featuring Caterina Zapponi, a talented cabaret singer and the wife of legendary jazz pianist Monte Alexander. The concert will be followed by a cocktail party at the Tidewater Inn with beverages, a buffet featuring the Inn’s passed hors d’oeuvres and generous food stations, along with a silent auction of unique events and experiences.

The Gala benefits the free and subsidized tickets provided during the annual two-week Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival in June, as well as YouthReach, and the free violin programs, “First Strings” and “Presto!” for grade school students. Tickets for the entire evening of concert, cocktails, auction and buffet are available for $175 per person. Concert only tickets for non-mezzanine balcony seats at the Avalon will be available for $30 each at www.chesapeakechambermusic.org, or by calling the office at 410-819-0380.
