Daniel Patrick Welch, 35, of Chestertown, was arrested Friday, Jan. 31 for the alleged robbery of Queenstown Bank in Church Hill on Dec. 13.
Welch was taken into custody without incident and charged with robbery and theft over $1,000, said a statement from the Queen Anne’s County Sherriff’s Office.
Units of the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office and the Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force served a search warrant on Welch’s residence in the 200 block of Deep Landing Road in Chestertown at around 6 a.m.
The search resulted in additional charges of marijuana possession and a convicted felon possessing a firearm.
Welch is being held on $50,000 bond at the Queen Anne’s County Detention Center.
At the time of his arrest on Friday, Welch was already out on a $20,000 bond for an alleged robbery of a home in Crumpton last May.
No trial date has been set.
