Editor,
Our family and friends had a great time at the Pumpkin Patch – I’d like to add my thanks to all involved, especially those who put together the putt-putt courses – so clever! The kids loved it, and I admit to taking a few shots myself. Watching “It’s the Great Pumpkin” surrounded by jack-o-lanterns topped off the event. Thanks so much. Already looking forward to next year’s event!

Editor,
A correction: 3rd prize in the Scarecrow Contest was created and won by Courtney Phelps, who created the ‘Flyin’ Fowl Crow’ at High & Cross St.
It was erroneously attributed as an entry by the KC Humane Society. The error was entirely mine.
Again, congrats to all the winners and participants.
