Election Last Look: On Waterfront Development and Local Businesses


As the polls open in less than 24 hours in Chestertown, two issues on the minds of many voters is the Town council’s relationship with the business community — and how citizens and the business community will be impacted by development of the waterfront.

A committee of representatives from Washington College, the Town Council, along with local volunteers with expertise in community development, are considering options that remain under wraps until after the election.

The Spy saved the responses from two questions on these issues for the eve of the election.
