On January 26, 2013, Coast Guard Auxiliary Division 054-21 held its annual Change of Watch luncheon at the Fisherman’s Inn restaurant on Kent Island at the Narrows. The Change of Watch honors outgoing elected and appointed staff officers and introduced the 2013 elected and appointed staff officers to the members in attendance. Captain Kevin C Kiefer, US Coast Guard, Commanding Officer of Coast Guard Sector Baltimore, was the keynote speaker and helped present several of the awards as well as the swearing in of the new elected leadership for 2013.
As part of the ceremonies, awards presented in various categories were the Auxiliarist of the Year, Flotilla with the greatest number of vessel examinations, on water operational awards, cumulative hour awards to individual members, and other mission awards.
