Centreville artist Nancy Hammond has had a considerable journey with her unique art and poster work since she graduated from Rhode Island School of Design as a young woman. Beginning in Annapolis, and then later Queen Anne’s County, Nancy has moved from capturing the grand nautical beauty of ships and coastlines to the more intimate and subtle landscapes of color found on Eastern Shore farms and creeks. She has done so humor and passion, but also as a practical businesswomen as well.
The Spy caught up with her in her gallery on Turpins Lane last month.
