Fat Cat Hackett

Chestertown’s own  Fat Cat Hackett performs this Saturday, November 17 at the Garfield Center.

Now residing in Italy, Hackett was a music lover at an early age, doing talent shows with his sisters and brother and friends as well as singing in church and school choir. From his teenage years, he was musically influenced by Otis Redding, James Brown, Isley Brothers, The Temptations, Sam Cooke, Four Tops , Maze, Luther Vandross, and a variety of Horn Bands.

He started playing drums in 1974 in Karlshrue, Germany with his first band: Soul Fire, and has been playing a variety of R’n’B with a mixture of Rock and Soul ever since.

His annual Chestertown shows are always popular- best to reserve tickets now.
