November 12, 2012 by Spy Desk

Share

The Town of Chestertown is holding a dedication of Remembrance Park on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 at Noon. The park is located between Queen Street and Philosopher’s Terrace on Horsey Lane.

The event is an opportunity to thank the many donors and friends who contributed to the construction of the park, including the Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources Community Parks & Playground Program, the Ginny Gough Estate, the Chestertown Garden Club, and the many individuals who chose to commemorate their loved one(s) with a sidewalk or tree plaque.

If you are planning on attending the Remembrance Park dedication, please park in the Dollar General parking lot on Philosopher’s Terrace. Parking will not be available on Horsey Lane.
