Alex Rasin Opens Up GOP Headquarters on High Street

The Kent County Republican Central Committee and Republicans of Kent held the Grand Opening of GOP headquarters at 200 High Street on Friday, August 3.  Former Kent County Commissioner Alex Rasin cut the ribbon assisted by Congressman Andy Harris, Delegate Steve Hershey, Delegate Mike Smigiel, Commissioner Bill Short, Kent County Central Committee Chair Sandy Terpeluk, Republicans of Kent President Matt Gerstung, MDGOP Vice Chair Diana Waterman, Maryland for Romney Co-Chair Audrey Scott, Judge of the Orphans Court Harry T. Williams, Mayor of Rock Hall Bob Willis, Chestertown Town Council Member Linda Kuiper, Caroline Central Committee member Matt Proud, Kent County Central Committee members Peter Metcalf and Hank Piasecki and Republicans of Kent Board members Mary Lou Pagella, Brenda Strange and Diane Wadkovsky.

Over 75 people attended the First Friday reception from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.  Congressman Harris spoke on the importance of the November 6 election and Audrey Scott, former Chairwoman of the Maryland Republican Party and Co-Chair of Maryland for Romney, delivered a “Rally for Romney” speech.  Romney for President, Bongino for Senate and Harris for Congress t-shirts, yard signs and bumper stickers are available at the headquarters, 10-5 pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 9-2 pm.
