As Fat Cat, one of Kent County’s favorite sons, is unable to play this Saturday night for Chestertown’s Music in the Park series, three of the county’s singer/songwriters (and friends) will perform instead.
Storyteller, folklorist and musician Chris Cerino will lead off the show, with Galena resident John Bunts following. Raised on an eclectic mix of country, classical, Motown, bluegrass and rock, Bunts has a large number of originals as well as entertaining versions of covers.
Johnson Fortenbaugh, aka the yodeling yachtbroker, and friends are familiar faces at the Garfield Center’s open mic events. He is also a member of the local band, Big Hat, No Cattle.
Limited seating is available, bring a picnic and something to sit on. FREE
In the event of rain, the concert will be held across the street at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 101 N. Cross St.
