Good Buzz: WiFi is Working

Courtesy of Uncle Sam, downtown Chestertown now has working WiFi. Carey Callahan of TEC Communications confirmed today that the system is on and working well.

Callahan said he tested it in front of Evergrain bakery on High Street, and it had a strong, fast connection. The signal is good around Cross Street as well. A replacement antenna cable is needed for one section – Callahan added that the signal may not be quite as strong at the top of Fountain Park, but that it should be fixed soon.

The Spy Newspapers may periodically employ the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the clarity and accuracy of our content.

I guess those who think Uncle Sam has too big an influence in our lives should pass up using the free WIFI…but maybe that wasn’t kind…:-)
