The Baltimore Sun is reporting that the Chesapeake Bay has received its second-worst health score, 38 percent, since scientists began making annual assessments in 1986.
The bay’s grade went from a C- in 2010 to D+ last year in an annual report card drawn up by the University of Maryland and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
