Holy cow, a Vietnamese restaurant has opened up in Middletown. The Nhu Vu Vietnamese Restaurant opened its doors three months ago in the strip mall behind Starbucks on Main Street. Spies have reported excellent pho soup and reasonable prices for those in Chestertown suffering from ethnic food withdrawal. We think these are the same folks that have done so well in Bear, Delaware.

I LITERALLY Googled Pho restaurants today and found this place through https://www.phofever.com/. I used to go to a great Pho place in Hyattsville (Pho 75) at least once a week when I worked nearby. Can’t wait to try it out!

We ate there a couple of weeks ago and recommend it.

I want to try it out b/c I had pho nearly every day for 2 weeks while I was in Vietnam last summer, yum!

I, too was/am a devotee of Hyatsville’s Pho 75 and will try this one pho sho! : /
I also want to share the local ethnic food secret that Hillside Liquor store in Centreville, (yes, it’s a gas station, too) sells a good chicken curry that Manjit and Sukhi make every Thursday. Stop by and try it!

We enjoy their Pho soup. The broth is excellent. It’s good for Pho lovers to have such a nice Pho place in Middletown. Highly recommended.

Why oh why can’t it be in Talbot County? I sure wish it would. The only other Delmarva pho I know of is Meghan’s Noodle House in Salisbury – reason enough to drive down to Salsbury. Thanks for your important tip – now I know where to stop for lunch when I’m heading north! I love pho!

Yes, I stumbled on the restaurant two weeks ago and it was delicious. It will definitely be a frequent stop when traveling and destination. I enjoyed the noodle bowl with lemongrass pork and Vietnamese spring roll. The soups look great with traditional Pho. They also have a smaller establishment on Rt. 40, Bear, Delaware. Hurray!
