The Kent County Public Library in Chestertown will present a show of the photographic images of local artist Richard Hall during the month of November 2015. Hall’s focus for the show will be rural scenes which depict the hand of man in rural landscapes. The show will include images of farm houses and other structures (both abandoned and living); farm fields at dawn and being worked; country churches; covered bridges; pastures at various altitudes. Most of the images were taken on the Delmarva Peninsula with a smattering of other locales in Pennsylvania, Colorado and New Mexico.
Hall’s work has been shown in galleries throughout Delmarva and in the larger region of the middle Atlantic east coast. Most recently his work has appeared in juried group shows in Frederick, MD; Brooklyn, NY; Washington DC; College Park, MD; and Annapolis, MD. For more information about the artist see the member artists’ portfolios on the Maryland Federation of Art web page
The show will run from Nov 3 through Nov 30, 2015 with a reception with the artist on Nov 4, 5-7 PM. The Kent County Public Library is found at 408 High Street in Chestertown, MD. Library hours are given at www.kentcountylibrary.org.
