Kennedyville, MD, August 29, 2016– Harvest season brings a lot of action to Crow Vineyard & Winery. In addition to the harvesting of the grapes, a number of events celebrating the season are planned.
The 2nd Annual CrowFest, a Farm and Vineyard Festival is being held on September 11, 2016, from 11-5pm. Come spend a day or a few hours enjoying award winning Crow Wine and local food offerings from the Haas food truck and Stewart’s catering. Some of the other highlights of the event are tours of the vineyard and winery, blacksmith demonstrations, grape stomping, hayrides, alpacas and over 20 farm and wine related craft vendors. Entertainment for the day is Phil Dutton and the Alligators playing a broad variety of music from the New Orleans region.For the first time this year, there will be an educational center, “Memory Lane”, so visitors can see the transition of Crow Farm over the years. CrowFest tickets can be purchased in advance, $12 for general admission or $35 for a VIP ticket, at crowvineyardandwinery.com click on events or for $15 at the gate.
Another opportunity to celebrate harvest with the Crow family is a pot luck dinner on October 7 from 6-9pm.
