Kent County Public Library’s On Your Mark, Get Set…READ! summer reading program has been an unquestionable success so far. Kids who are playing the summer reading game have until Friday, August 12th to earn and spend Library Dollars at the Summer Reading Store. During the first week of August, there are four final summer reading events.
Tuesday, August 2
Nursery Rhyme Rock Concert with Mr. Sam!
Mr. Sam returns to inspire us to shake, rattle, and roll to classic children’s songs. Ages 7 and under.

Thursday, August 4
North County Branch Summer Reading Finale
We’ve had a blast! Now let’s finish strong with a summer party like no other. Food, crafts, giveaways, and more! All ages welcome.

Friday, August 5
Nature on the Go: Reptile Show Summer Reading Finale
Snakes alive! It’s time for another visit from the Nature Center on the Go. Visit with reptiles of all shapes and sizes during our final sprint to this summer’s finish line. All ages welcome.

KCPL will be taking a Storytime Break beginning the week of August 15th. The fall Storytime session will begin on Tuesday, September 6th.
