On First Friday, July 1st, 2016, The Artists Gallery will present Sally Clark’s new show, “Artistic Interpretations.” Sally’s most recent work interprets nature by using a variety of mediums. “My first love is watercolor, but for this present show, I tried to stretch my imagination. Instead of applying one medium, I used several together to interpret the composition. Also, including in this exhibit are several pieces of painted recycled furniture.”
Sally Clark has a BA from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, an art education degree from the University of Memphis, and a Certificate of Studies from the Institute of American Studies in Aix en Provence, France. She is a member of Working Artists Forum in Easton, Kent Island Federation of Art and the Queen Anne’s County Arts Council, as well as partner in The Artists Gallery in Chestertown.
The public is invited to visit The Artists Gallery on July 1, 2016 from 5-8 p.m., for light refreshments and libations. Sally’s show will be featured in The Artists Gallery throughout the month of July. The Artists Gallery is located at 239 High Street in Chestertown, and is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10-5 and Sundays from 12:30-4:30.
