Curious about the 32nd US president, and the only president to be elected four times? Franklin Roosevelt, as portrayed by Bob Chauncey, will confide with the audience and deliver excerpts from his inaugural addresses and famous fireside chats in the Garfield Center’s Kohl Lobby this First Friday, November 6. The show is free and open to the public. Performances are at 5:30, 6:00 and 6:30.
The selections are taken from the play, “Inside Uncle Rosy’s White House: An Evening with Franklin Delano Roosevelt,” written by Carlton E. Spitzer, and produced by the Hugh Gregory Gallagher Theatre, Inc.
