The Garfield Center is pleased to announce the return of the joyous music by Egalitarian and drum master Paco Dembe and the Dinkendo Band on Saturday, October 17, at 8 pm.
The group performed earlier this year as the culmination of a town-wide Africa by America Day cultural celebration in May.
Currently based in Wilmington, Egalitarian has six releases to his credit, and has toured the U.S. and Europe with his Dinkendo Band. He is also the Good Will Ambassador Of The SOS Children Villages In The Gambia.
The public is invited to a reception to meet the band from 4:30 to 6:30 in the Garfield Center’s Kohl Lobby. The reception is free and open to all.
