Chestertown Recreation Commission announces that this Friday September 4 concludes our season of family friendly films to be shown outdoors in downtown Chestertown with “Mr Peabody & Sherman”.
From Dreamworks Pictures, a new twist on an old animated favorite that is both nostalgic and brand new. Moms & Dads will feel like they have gone into the WABAC machine and remember the classic cartoons from their youth while kids get to meet a brand new Mr. Peabody, the most accomplished dog in the world, and his boy, Sherman as they use a time machine for outrageous adventures. But when Sherman takes the time machine without permission to impress his friend Penny, he accidentally rips a hole in the universe and causes havoc with world history. It’s up to Mr. Peabody to mount a rescue and prevent the past, present and future from being permanently altered. Starring Ty Burrell, Max Charles & Ariel Winter with cameos by Steven Colbert, Stanley Tucci, Mel Brooks and many more, our final movie under the stars will have something for everyone.
