If there was any doubt about the impact of Chestertown doubling down on the arts in the last few years, last night’s First Friday would be a good example of how it is making a difference in town. With a pop-up gallery, SANDBOX’s spring offerings, art and music in bank buildings, on the streets and in storefronts, the big message was that art and fun can go hand in hand.
