Back by popular demand, Guest Chef Dinner at The Lemon Leaf Café in Chestertown on Tuesday, April 7, 2015.
Ralph Dowling, President and CEO of The Peoples Bank, will again be preparing his famous Paella at The Lemon Leaf Café/J.R.’s Past Time Pub on Tuesday, April. Those attending will be treated to a savory buffet including dessert with paell as its centerpiece.
This year’s dinner benefits the United Way of Kent County and the 25 agencies it funds in the County. United Way Executive Director Beth Everett said, “A function like this means a great deal to the United Way of Kent County. The need in the County is much greater than most people realize, and this gives us the opportunity to help many more of our residents.”
This type of fundraiser is something that both J.R. and Dowling enjoy doing, put them together and it is sure to be a success.
Tickets are $35.00 per person, including tax and gratuity, and may be purchased from the United Way of Kent County by calling 410-778-3195 or stopping by the office at 819 High Street, Chestertown. All proceeds benefit the United Way of Kent County and its Member Agencies.
