At about 9:47 a.m on Friday, a white male standing about 6′, and wearing a hoody, gloves, camouflage pants and sunglasses, jumped over the counter of the Queenstown Bank on Main Street in Church Hill and emptied several teller drawers,” said Dale Patrick, a public information officer with the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect then fled and investigators are looking for a burgandy Hyundai passenger vehicle with out-of-state license plates.
QAC Sheriffs were first to arrive at the scene and the K-9 unit of the Chestertown Police Department was later called in to try and track the suspect.
No injuries were reported.
