Local artist Linda Hall will be the featured artist at The Artist’s Gallery in October, with an open reception planned on October 4.
Linda King Hall moved to Kent County, MD from Bucks County, PA in 1997. She makes her home in Betterton. Originally from Ohio, she is a graduate of Ohio University, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major in graphic art and a minor in art education. She has taught art, K through 12. After taking two masters course at Fairfield University she worked with advertising agencies and design studios for fifteen years.
She has participated in numerous juried art shows, winning many awards. In 2010 she won the Stephen Quiller award in the Northeast Watercolor Society’s International Show. In 2011 she won the Colson Printing Award in the BWS Mid-Atlantic Show. Linda has Signature membership in Baltimore Watercolor Society, BWS, Pennsylvania Watercolor Society , PWS and Northeast watercolor Society, and NEWS.
Linda is a Partner at The Artists’ Gallery on High St. in Chestertown as well as being a member of River Arts, Kifa, and the Working Artist Forum in Easton.
