On Friday September 13, 3023 the SRBC (Sassafras River Business Council) will be holding their 3rd Annual Taste of the Sassafras under the tented pavilion on the lawn at the Kitty Knight House Inn & Restaurant in Georgetown Maryland from 5 to 9 PM with food available until 7 PM.
Plans are for a number of local food vendors offering tastes of their cuisine, featured local beer, and wine from Cassinelli Winery, located in Church Hill Maryland.
Entertainment will be provided by Kent County’s own One Man Band, Dan Saunders.
New this year is the Sassafras Pass (Single $40/Couple $75) which will include the food samplings and open bar from 5-7 PM on the featured wine and beer (mixed drinks and non-featured beverages not included, however there will be a cash bar available).
Also available is the River Pass (Single $25/Couple $45) which includes the food samplings and one complimentary drink ticket per person to sample the featured beer or wine.
Tickets can be purchased online at srbcinc.org/taste-of-the-sassafras. While River Pass tickets may be available at the door (Single $30/Couple $50), the Sassafras Pass must be purchased in advance.
Proceeds go to the SRBC, Kent County Public Library and local area food ministries.
