First celebrated in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and celebrated by libraries across the country each April. Kent County Public Library is proud to participate in this celebration of the value of libraries, librarians, and library workers. This year’s theme, Communities Matter @your library, resonates with our continual goal of providing library services for all members of the public and being responsive to the needs of our local communities.
