We’re all set to plant the first of three demonstration rain gardens, starting with the public park on Rolling Road. The planting will take place from 1:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. this Thursday, Sept. 9. The forecast is for sunny skies with temperatures in the high 70’s – perfect weather for fall planting! We will have some shovels and rakes on site, but bring your own tools (including hand tools) if you so desire.
The entrance to the park is at the foot of School Road, where you’ll see a dirt road that leads to a break in the fence. Please park to the side so that construction vehicles can get through the fence. I have attached a map in case you have questions about the location.
I hope to see you this Thursday – please spread the word!
